Capsule Collection (Individual Progress) 1. Fashion Trends Research: Revival of Y2K Fashion Each of the group members did trends research based on colours, I chose pink. Y2K style is one of the trends now, and pink is one of the most representable colours of Y2K style. Current Y2K trends: butterfly pattern, cargo pants, front tie top, bandana, baguette bag, miniskirt & minidress 2. Design Development - Cut & Paste Design ideas: abstract & cubism pattern, the theme is artistic patterning, just like what have planned on the inspiration board and mood board. 3. Technical Drawing details + fashion terminology 4. Range Planning For the pricing, our group have referred to the premium womenswear brand in the fashion industry. 5. Styling Board Styling idea: Artistic & colourful but prominent colour is pink.

For this assignment, I was doing some history research about 60s fashion. The overall contents are my analysis based on the information I have collected from the internet. Background and influences (cultural, historical, social) During the awakening of youngsters' power in society, lots of youth cultures also occurred. All of these factors have influenced the way that people dress. Usually, when we think about 60s fashion, the first thing that comes out of our mind is probably bold colours and diversity of patterning design, and that is why the Mod style is one of the most representable looks from the 60s. Assignment 2 : Cut & Paste

Inspiration: Different shapes of green and blue antique glassware from England. I was browsing Pinterest and saw these unique glassware shapes, so I immediately thought it would be a good idea to use them in my cut & paste design. These are some glassware images I used for my cut & paste designs: Final design outcome: Proportion Design Disproportion Design I also tried some manual cut & paste, but I got stuck and struggled at some parts, so I didn't use them as my final design. It was kind of rushing to redo the designs, but glad that I could submit the assignment on time.
